Alla Casa Bianca i capi di governo di Bulgaria, Romania, Lituania, Lettonia, Estonia, Slovacchia e Slovenia hanno firmato i trattati di adesione alla Nato, col presidente americano George W. Bush a fare da gran cerimoniere.
